16 December 2017

Thanks so much to the 80 parkrunners we had join us at Yokine parkrun today in what appeared to be steadily increasing temperatures!

Thanks so much to our volunteers and sponsors for helping us run today!

We had TWENTY-NINE first timers today which is amazing, and another TWENTY-ONE people beat their Yokine parkrun PBs! For those of you who forgot your barcode (only SEVEN) you can easily fix that on the parkrun website ;)

...

We also had a sneaky milestoner earn their 50 shirt today, but we won't mention who as they kept that a secret during the briefing! Congratulations though!

As always our volunteer rosters need some people, particularly over the Christmas and New Year period, so please let us know if too much holiday cheer means you'd rather marshal or take photos for us! You'll be appropriately trained and supervised!

Once again, thank-you to everyone who came today! Your results should be in your emails, but for those barcode forgetters, the results are also available here! http://www.parkrun.com.au/yokine/results/weeklyresults/…

Hope to see you all next week!

Yokine parkrun launch

What an incredible turnout at our very first parkrun at Yokine Reserve! 245 participants, including over 30 brand new parkrunners came along to help us start off in the right manner. Thank you to all our volunteers on the day, and to Simon Millman, MLA for Mt Lawley who officially launched the event. We are looking forward to running this event with you each Saturday morning!
