Thank you everyone for your participation today. It is so good to see so many smiling faces on a Saturday morning, The ground was very lush and green from the lovely rainfall last week.

We would like to congratulate Emily Betteridge (12yrs) on a very big milestone, this was her 25 Volunteering Day with parkrun. You are now a purple brigade shirt achiever, woohoo. Emily is so full of enthusiasm and loves a liitle chat, it has been and pleasure to be Volunteering with Emily, You are a legend
This week 22 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 12 were first timers and 2 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 6 different clubs took part.

The male record is held by Steve ROHAN-JONES who recorded a time of 18:23 on 15th December 2018 (event number 25).
The female record is held by Bec OWTTRIM who recorded a time of 20:25 on 19th January 2019 (event number 31).
The Age Grade course record is held by Marj HENDRY who recorded 82.85% (24:06) on 14th July 2018 (event number 8).
Woodford parkrun started on 19th May 2018. Since then 422 participants have completed 963 parkruns covering a total distance of 4,815 km, including 162 new Personal Bests. A total of 82 individuals have volunteered 321 times.
