Westerfolds parkrun is cancelled this Saturday 19th June, 2021.
Due to current government restrictions, Westerfolds parkrun is cancelled on Saturday 12/6/21.
However, as an alternative... we would love to see you complete a (not) parkrun!
Last week, Westerfolds parkrun came 2nd in the overall (not) parkrun tally, with 43 participants, just short of Wyndham Vale with 46. What a great effort!
All you need to do is complete 5km at your own pace from Monday-Sunday this week, in accordance with current restrictions. Then, log in to your parkrun profile at https://www.parkrun.com/signin/ and follow the link to (not) parkrun to submit your time. If you completed a 5km earlier this week, you can still log it! If your home parkrun is Westerfolds, your result will count towards our tally
It's a great way to help keep the mind and the body healthy. We'd love to hear about your (not) parkrun so please comment below and share it with us.
Stay safe everyone!
As per the Victorian Government's announcement yesterday, all Victorian parkrun events are cancelled this Saturday 5th of June.
We know this is a challenging time, so we'd love to encourage our parkrun community to complete a "(not) parkrun" this weekend.
For those who are not familiar with (not) parkrun, you walk/jog or run 5km in your local area at any time you like (providing it is safe and respecting current restrictions). It can be on local streets, a park down the road, or even on a treadmill.
You then log in to your parkrun profile and follow the link to "(not) parkrun" to record your time. https://www.parkrun.com/signin/
To have your (not) parkrun counted in the weekly tally, please record your result by Sunday evening.
Last week we had 8 (not) parkrun's recorded for Westerfolds parkrun... let's see if we can get more numbers this week!
Following the Victoria Government announcement on 12 February 2021, all parkrun events are cancelled for February 13, 2021, and junior parkrun events for 14 February 2021.
