The last Wagga parkrun for Autumn but it sure felt like the middle of winter! A cool 2 degrees starting parkrun this morning for those that braved it, with 65 parkrunners at Wagga parkruns #152nd event. Today we welcomed just 2 parkrun tourists and 5 newcommers to parkrun! We hope you enjoyed our parkrun despite the cool conditions and come again! Don’t forget to join us afterwards at Mock Orange Café at Lake Albert for a coffee or hot chocolate afterwards to get the sensation in your fingers back again.
Today’s event brought a new PB’s to: Warren Prior, Morgan Hoellfritsch, Luke Guerin, Dean McCallum, Adam Sennett, Nathan Lanham, Allan Finucane, Tracy Dawson, Robyn Hampton and Joseph Safour!
Shoutout to Wagga parkrunner Ketema Zeleke on completing their 100th parkrun today, and all 100 being run at Wagga! Ketema has also volunteered twice at Wagga being timekeeper and finish tokens. Thankyou for supporting us and an email will be sent out in the next week or so how to collect you 100 parkrun t-shirt!
If you have an upcoming Milestone or Milestone we have missed, give us a shoutout at parkrun or send us a message! We also love any pictures you take at parkrun.
Todays’ results have been emailed, and the full set can be viewed via the following link: https://www.parkrun.com.au/wagga/results/weeklyresults/?runSeqNumber=152
These events cannot be run without our fantastic volunteers, so please consider volunteering as we would love to have you! We always welcome new and returning volunteers who can get on board by either the roster board at each event, messaging our FB page or emailing us at email@example.com . Volunteers also get a free coffee (or hot chocolate) at our post parkrun café – Mock Orange in the Lake Village Shopping Centre.
We look forward to seeing you next Saturday for event #153!
