Tamworth Wetlands parkrun
Event number 16
24th November 2018
Thank you to everyone who came this week, particularly the volunteers who generously donated their Saturday morning so we could all have some fun in the sun.
This week marks the possible end of the extreme wet weather course, because the Puddle of Doom has finally dried up, transforming into the Dribble of Inconvenience. Next week we may go back to the normal course which goes over the Dribble and continues around the wetlands on the eastern side.
Also a quick reminder that it's always the right time to volunteer, whether you've completed one run or one hundred.
This week 74 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 14 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 5 different clubs took part.
The event was made possible by 9 volunteers:
Geoff AMOS • Cameron DRAKE • Shirley WHITING • Dave DYSON • Sarah BALLARD • Sienna BALLARD • Gerry LIGTERMOET • Richard HUTCHISON • Karen STEEL
