Children under the age of 11 years old need to be accompanied, at arms reach, at all times, at parkrun All children under the age of 11 years old are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other designated adult of the parents' choice at parkrun events This is policy is non-negotiable, designed to ensure the safety and protection of all children under 11 years of age at parkrun events. Under 18 Volunteering:
Children under the age of 11 must be within arm's reach of a parent, guardian or designated adult of the parents' choice at all times.
Those aged 11 or over can volunteer without their parent or guardian, but should be within close proximity of a responsible adult volunteer. This is providing all parties are comfortable with this arrangement.
Event Directors must be aged 18 or over. Those under the age of 18 can be Run Directors, if accompanied by an adult Run Director.

Tamworth parkrun started on 27th September 2014. Since then 3,170 participants have completed 25,620 parkruns covering a total distance of 128,100 km, including 4,423 new Personal Bests.
