Strathalbyn parkrun #181 14/12/2019

Today we congratulate 2 special parkrunners on their 100th parkrun milestones. Our junior speedster Charlotte Collins and the athlete Craig Hicks both achieved their 100's on a perfect morning and in fine style! Thanks to our volunteers and a special mention to Tony O'Neil for volunteering 25 times, thanks Tony for your dedicated support at Strathalbyn parkrun.

We would also like to say an enormous congratulations to Bob Hicks for his outstanding walk today, we acknowledge his tremendous feat in overcoming a serious injury at Carisbrooke parkrun exactly a year ago today. Well done Bob, inspirational stuff mate!

This week 52 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 9 were first timers and 4 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 3 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Hannah OLDROYD who recorded a time of 18:53 on 1st January 2017 (event number 27).
The male record is held by Michael John ROEGER who recorded a time of 14:47 on 22nd December 2018 (event number 129).
The Age Grade course record is held by Michael John ROEGER who recorded 87.49% (14:47) on 22nd December 2018 (event number 129).

Strathalbyn parkrun started on 2nd July 2016. Since then 1,196 participants have completed 7,374 parkruns covering a total distance of 36,870 km, including 1,297 new Personal Bests. A total of 147 individuals have volunteered 1,211 times.
