Ho Ho Ho!! Merry Christmas!!

This week 191 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 5 were first timers and 5 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 9 different clubs took part.

Shepparton parkrunners were spotted: Chris and Deb Harvey doing a Bushy parkrun pilgrimage (where parkrun all started) and Trevor Dainton at Benalla Botanical Gardens parkrun.

We had visitors from Newcastle parkrun, Campaspe parkrun and Parkville parkrun.

Leo Bartels: 100 Club: 99 parkruns at Shepparton and 1 at Batemans Bay parkrun. Since his first parkrun he has improved his time by 2:32, had 6 personal bests and has volunteered 2 times.

Kim Read: 100 Club: Kim has completed all her parkruns at Shepparton. Since her first parkrun, she has improved her time by 16:05, has had 9 personal bests and has volunteered 19 times.

Emily Mason: 50 Club: 47 parkruns at Shepparton and 1 each at Merimbula parkrun, Albert Melbourne parkrun, Echuca Moama parkrun and Westerfolds parkrun. Since her first parkrun she has reduced her time by 1:20 and has had 2 personal bests.

Lila Urquhart: 50 Club: 46 at Shepparton and 1 each at Wangaratta parkrun, Cobram parkrun, Geographe Bay parkrun, and Lillydale Lake parkrun. Since her first parkrun she has reduced her time by 26:41, has had 16 personal bests and has volunteered 2 times.

Peter Frizzell: 25 Volunteer Club: He has completed Pre-event setup (3), Run DIrector (1), Photographer (2), Timer (10), Finish Tokens (1), Barcode Scanning (2) and Token Sorting (6).

The female record is held by Tarli BIRD who recorded a time of 16:42 on 3rd December 2016 (event number 148).
The Age Grade course record is held by Annette O'SHEA who recorded 93.71% (19:04) on 29th March 2014 (event number 12).

Shepparton parkrun started on 11th January 2014. Since then 3,817 participants have completed 38,112 parkruns covering a total distance of 190,560 km, including 6,149 new Personal Bests. A total of 449 individuals have volunteered 3,205 times.
