If you have visited the Greater Brisbane area recently, please have a COVID test as soon as possible.

 

Shepparton parkrun weekly news – event #318

A lovely cool start to a wonderful morning at parkrun for International Women’s Day. Thanks to those who donned purple for the day.

This week 268 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 14 were first timers and 46 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

Leaping lizards!!! What an amazing turnout for a fantastic run on such a special day! Super thanks to Julie and Bron for donating the delicious chocolate frogs we enjoyed afterwards.

Congratulations to the massive amount of personal bests this week – the push for the chocolate was worth it! Thanks to the pacers – that’s a massive 21% of people got a PB this week!

Thanks to everyone for participating in Chelsea's “leap zone” – it sure has made for some entertaining photos this week... just so many good ones.

This week 264 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 17 were first timers and 55 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 7 different clubs took part.

What a super sweaty way to start a Saturday!! Great opportunity to take things a bit slower than normal and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the lake.

Happy birthday to us!
A great turn out for out 6th birthday! How fast does the time go. From our humble beginnings, where around 60 people showed up to give this new idea a go, to now when there are frequently more than 200 of us giving it a crack. Way better weather for being outside today, vast contrast to yesterday, and we were glad that everyone took the opportunity to enjoy themselves this morning with us.
