HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
Congratulations to all who started their year off in the best way possible - with one, or even TWO parkruns!
This week 185 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 25 were first timers and 26 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different clubs took part.

We had tourists from lots of different states this week (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA): Lalor parkrun, Wimmera River parkrun, Horsham, Maribyrnong parkrun, Tuggeranong parkrun, Cobram parkrun, Warrnambool parkrun, Cohuna parkrun, Rooty Hill parkrun, Echuca Moama parkrun, North Lakes parkrun and Parkville parkrun.
Shepparton parkrunners were spotted touristing on Saturday: Sarah Clack at Lake Mac parkrun, Helen, Craig, Hayden, Justin and Lee Reynolds at St Lucia parkrun, Deb and Chris Harvey at Folkestone parkrun (UK), Chris Banning at Jells parkrun, Sue Olley at Altona Beach parkrun, Aiden Ross at Rhodes parkrun, Melanie McAuliffe at Nambour parkrun (with previous Shepparton parkrunner Mairead Macdougall), Christine Trevaskis at Studley parkrun, Robert and Lesley Ryan at Wilson Botanic parkrun, Dylan Scoble at Echuca Moama parkrun and Kevin Bell at Gardiners Creek parkrun,
Shout out to Jordan O'Brien who was one of 101 people worldwide who ran a time of 20:20 on the first parkrun of 2020.
Congratulations to this weeks milestone achiever:
Carolyne McCrae: 50 Club: 30 at Shepparton parkrun and 20 at 18 other locations. Since her first parkrun, she has reduced her time by 5:08, has had 8 personal bests and has volunteered once.

The male record is held by Brady THRELFALL who recorded a time of 14:54 on 27th June 2015 (event number 75).
The female record is held by Tarli BIRD who recorded a time of 16:42 on 3rd December 2016 (event number 148).
The Age Grade course record is held by Annette O'SHEA who recorded 93.71% (19:04) on 29th March 2014 (event number 12).
Shepparton parkrun started on 11th January 2014. Since then 4,029 participants have completed 41,221 parkruns covering a total distance of 206,105 km, including 6,453 new Personal Bests. A total of 464 individuals have volunteered 3,431 times.
