A lovely cool start to a wonderful morning at parkrun for International Women’s Day. Thanks to those who donned purple for the day.
This week 268 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 14 were first timers and 46 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

We had tourists this week from Parkville parkrun, Port Fairy parkrun, Lilydale Lake parkrun, Albury Wodonga parkrun, King’s Lynn parkrun (UK).

Congratulations to the following milestone achievers:
Adrian Raymer: 50 Club: 48 at Shepparton parkrun and one each at Echuca Moama parkrun and Mawson Lakes parkrun. Since his first parkrun he has reduced his time by 1:06, has had 3 personal bests and volunteered twice.

The male record is held by Brady THRELFALL who recorded a time of 14:54 on 27th June 2015 (event number 75).
The female record is held by Tarli BIRD who recorded a time of 16:42 on 3rd December 2016 (event number 148).
The Age Grade course record is held by Annette O'SHEA who recorded 93.71% (19:04) on 29th March 2014 (event number 12).
Shepparton parkrun started on 11th January 2014. Since then 4,189 participants have completed 43,546 parkruns covering a total distance of 217,730 km, including 6,706 new Personal Bests. A total of 478 individuals have volunteered 3,578 times.
