Shepparton parkrun weekly news – event # 267

Welcome to this weeks edition of the Shepparton parkrun news. This weeks rain kept a few away but 158 brave superstars ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 11 were first timers and 15 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part.

This week we had tourists from Yeppoon and Dubbo parkruns stop by to say hi to parkie the parkrun Duck-Pigeon. Some of our regulars ventured to Llanelli coast, Portland and Cowpasture reserve parkruns.

The female record is held by Tarli BIRD who recorded a time of 16:42 on 3rd December 2016 (event number 148).
The Age Grade course record is held by Annette O'SHEA who recorded 93.71% (19:04) on 29th March 2014 (event number 12).

Shepparton parkrun started on 11th January 2014. Since then 3,532 participants have completed 33,995 parkruns covering a total distance of 169,975 km, including 5,690 new Personal Bests. A total of 419 individuals have volunteered 2,830 times.

 

Shepparton parkrun weekly news – Event #266

Welcome to this weeks edition of Shepparton parkruns newsletter! It was a beautiful clear and warm morning which saw 211 people running, jogging and walking past the pigeon duck on the course. This week we had 13 were first timers and 35 massive superstars recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 4 different clubs took part.

Today's parkrun brought tourists from Cobram and Melbourne. Some of our regulars attended parkruns in Devenport, Jells, Burley Griffin and Bendigo.

Shepparton parkrun Weekly News – Event #265

Welcome to Shepparton parkrun weekly news for event # 265.

This week 239 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 19 were first timers and 41 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part.

This week we had tourists from Mullum Mullum, Comba, Ballarat, Lillydale Lake, Hastings Foreshore and Highlands parkruns. Some of our regulars participated in parkruns at Wagga, Lancefield and Bendigo parkruns.

The event was made possible by 13 volunteers, including one superstar Voluntourist from Highlands parkrun! Thanks so much!

Shepparton parkrun weekly news – Event #264

Welcome to this weeks Shepparton parkrun news. This week the heat came but but it did not deter the 203 people who ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 8  were first timers and 23 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 5 different clubs took part.

This week we had visitors from Centennial, Lillydale Lake, Cobram, and Gungahlin parkruns. Some of our regulars ventured to Bendigo, Coburg and Echuca Moama parkruns.

This week we had three superstars reach milestones, it was a clean sweep with a 50, 100 and 250 shirt come out and make appearances! Well done to all of you, its an amazing effort!

Welcome to the Shepparton parkrun weekly news for event number 263. This week 26 people, ran jogged and walked the course, of whom 12 were first timers and 41 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 6 different clubs took part.

This week we had visitors from Euroa, Hastings Foreshore and Highlands parkrun. Some of our regulars headed out to Main Beach, Portland, Bendigo and East Richmond parkruns. This week three superstars joined the 100 club. We can't wait to see you reach 250 parkruns!
