We had a great turn out for a beautiful autumnal long weekend parkrun. Visitors made up around half our numbers today from all around Adelaide! We also had a few newbies in this group which is lovely to see.
The tide was out so the track was fairly firm in the stretches where tidal changes impact, but there was still plenty of seaweed, soft sand and squidgy grass to make it hard going in places. Despite that, we had a cracking pace for the first home in his first parkrun for over a year, and some nice PBs (including back to back!) for some locals.
This week 35 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 16 were first timers and 4 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 3 different clubs took part.
The event was made possible by 7 volunteers:
Alison EDWARDS • Kate MUDGE • Tracey STRINGER • Helen HUGHES • Craig JENKIN • Sean BROUGHTON-WRIGHT • Mikayla HEWETT
