This week 144 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 12 were first timers and 26 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part.

Point Cook parkrun started on 18th January 2014. Since then 4,010 participants have completed 37,124 parkruns covering a total distance of 185,620 km, including 6,012 new Personal Bests. A total of 527 individuals have volunteered 3,395 times.

 

Run report event #397 Point Cook

It was a stunning Saturday morning with a lovely breeze that welcomed the 123 runners join us to event #307.

Being the first Saturday of the month, it was pacer week. Maybe this helped the 9 parkrunners achieving PBs. Well done and what a great way to finish the year up.

Event #307 also saw 14 first timers and visitors to Point Cook - hope you enjoyed yourselves and we see you back to Point Cook parkrun soon.

Achieving the 100 milestone this week was Amy WALKER, with 95 of those 100 runs completed at Point Cook and volunteering 4 times.

This week was only made possible thanks to our very talented volunteer - a huge thank you to you all - more significant given Thursday 9th December was International Volunteer day.

What a morning!
Wally was not only found, but in abundance.. There were lots of new faces joining us at their first parkrun - and a huge amount of tourists too. The sun was out which meant the cold was tolerated a little better.

This week 179 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 34 were first timers and 19 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.
