Event Cancellation – 24th April 2021

***Event Cancellation***

As per the Western Australian Government announcement on 23 April 2021, Perth and Peel will commence a 3 day lockdown, and as such, parkrun events in these areas are required to cancel on Saturday 24 April 2021.

We'll see you again on 1 May.

Dear parkrunner,

The Western Australian Government has now mandated electronic check-in via the SafeWA App.  Every Western Australian parkrun will therefore now display a unique QR code each Saturday morning.

We strongly encourage everyone who comes to parkrun to take a moment to check in each weekend.  The QR code for Perry Lakes parkrun is also pictured below.

Post Lockdown Restrictions – Events cancelled on 6th and 13th February

As per the Western Australian Government announcement on 4 February 2021, Perth and Peel will commence a post-lockdown transition, and as such, Perry Lakes parkrun will have to cancel on both Saturday 6 and 13 February 2021.

We know that we may not reach the community sport limit of 150 every week, however, there is a risk that with neighbouring parkruns cancelled and unable to operate this may result in average attendance being exceeded. We therefore cannot take this risk.Event_Cancelled

This year Perry Lakes parkrun will be offering additional parkruns on both Christmas Day and New Year's Day at 8am.

Burn off all those extra Christmas calories before you consume them and celebrate the New Year with all your friends and parkrun Family at Perry Lakes.

Special Events on Christmas Day and New Years Day

Each year at parkrun we have the option of holding additional parkrun events on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

As per last year we have chosen not to hold these extra events.

Our normal weekly Saturday parkruns will continue throughout the Christmas period though.

If you do wish to attend a parkrun on Christmas Day or New Year's Day a full list of parkrun's holding special events on these days can be found here:
