New Year’s Day 2020

You can start the new year with a run - or two!
Commencing at Parramatta at 7.30am (note the earlier start), you can then travel to Rhodes at 8.45am or Rooty Hill at 9.00am.
This is the only time of the year you can officially record two runs in a day.

New Year’s Day Double 2019

Starting with Parramatta parkrun at 7.30am (note the earlier start) and follow this up at either Rhodes at 8.30am OR Rooty Hill at 9.30am.

It's the only time of the year you can officially record two runs in one day.

Remember, please drive carefully between events, and respect our neighbours at this early hour.

New Year’s Day Double

We are having a New Year's Day double with Rooty Hill.

Commencing at 8.00am at Rooty Hill, you can follow this up with a 9.30am run at Parramatta. This is the only day of the year where two runs will count.

Please travel safely if you are going to do the two runs.

Christmas 2015 and New Year’s Day 2016 parkruns

Once again, the Christmas parkrun is back with a special Parramatta parkrun scheduled for Christmas Day 2015 at the regular time of 8 am. Thanks to Murray who has volunteered to be Run Director on the day.

But that's not all folks...

In addition, for the first time ever, we are offering a New Year's Day edition of Parramatta parkrun. This will take place at the special time of 9:30 am so that those who are interested can complete the traditional "New Year's Day double" with our good friends at Rhodes parkrun who will be starting at 8 am. This is the only day of the year when you are allowed to register two parkruns on the same day. Thanks to Naomi who has volunteered to be Run Director on the day.

To top it off, it will also be business as usual on Saturdays throughout the Christmas/New Year period with regular Parramatta parkruns scheduled for December 26 (Boxing Day) and January 2. So, if you've done the maths, that is a chance to register FIVE parkruns in a nine-day period!!

Of course, all events are dependent on sufficient volunteers to go ahead, so please consider signing up as a volunteer. And finally, if you are doing the double, make sure you take it easy driving across from Rhodes.
