New Year’s Day 2020

Great news! We will again be part of a double-header this New Year's Day.  We are partnering with Torrens parkrun to bring you two parkruns in one day.

Torrens will kick off at the EARLIER TIME of 7.30am, and then we will start at 9.30am.  This gives enough time for folk to get from Torrens to Pakapakanthi (and if you're so inclined you could run the approx 3.7km distance between the two events).

What a great way to start your active 2020!

If you'd like to be part of the volunteer team for either event, please email us (see the email link on the volunteering tab in this website) or contact us via our Facebook page.

Christmas Day 2019

We will not be running on Christmas Day in 2019 but you don't have to go far to find a number of other SA events that will be celebrating with a Christmas run, including our nearest neighbours at Torrens!

Christmas and New Year’s Day

Pakapakanthi is very excited to be joining forces with Torrens this year to bring you a New Year's Day parkrun double. This is the only day of the year you can partake in TWO parkruns on the same day. Torrens will kick the New Year off starting at 0730 with Pakapakanthi starting at 0930 and continuing the party.

This promises to be a HUGE event and we hope you can all join us for what should be a great social morning. Is there really a better way to start 2019? Some of you may even be keen enough to run BETWEEN events (it's only 4km!).

Pakapakanthi will not hold a Christmas Day event but both Mawson Lakes and Jubilee Way will both be running so get along to join them for some Christmas Cheer.

We will still be running Pakapakanthi parkrun every Saturday of the festive season.
