No April Fools

It was refreshing to see the hills all still there on Saturday morning after the rangers had mentioned on April 1st about making Nambour a flat course. However a few people were disappointed with no flying fox or catapult at the creek crossing.
Before we headed to the starting line we got to congratulate our parkrunner of the Month - Mick Brauns. Thanks to Majestic Cinemas Nambour for donating the POTM prize of a double pass to the movies. One of our run directors Sarah King finally completed her 50th run, after being so close in December before injury.
It was a close race to be the first across the line with Edward Langley running a pb of 23:29 to cross the line only 5 seconds in front of Jason Collette 23:34
Helen Greenfield also ran a pb to be first female finisher in 27:17
We had 68 runners with 27 pb's and 23 first timers and visitors to Nambour parkrun with a couple all the way from the UK.
