Event # 148 – Celebrating – 22nd October 2016

235 parkrunners out in Minnippi lapping up the sun and having a run.  One very speedy runner, Liam Boudin set a new Male course record of 15:08! How exciting!

Can you believe, no milestone runs!  Don't worry, there are a few coming up.  If you have something blue, throw it on to support regular runner Lily Parons who will be celebrating her 100th run on November 5th.  Do you have a milestone coming up?  Let us know so we can give you a shout out in our morning brief, and don't forget to get your photo with the milestone "shirt".

Another very important milestone is coming up.... Minnippi parkrun's 3rd birthday on November 26. We'll be having a rainbow theme, so come in all colours of the rainbow and help us celebrate.  Feel free to bring along a share plate and we can all have some little post run snacks and a good chat with fellow runners.

Other very exciting news... Minnippi parkrun will be running on Christmas Day and New Years Day at 7am. So you can get some extra runs towards your next milestone... Don't forget the added benefit of not feeling so guilty when you over indulge on Christmas pudding!

Happy Running
