Thanks to the 151 runners that we had this week, it was a chilly one :) There was so much happening on Saturday! Firstly, we celebrated volunteer week and said thanks to all our wonderful group of parkrunners that take the time to volunteer with us. If you haven't done so already, it's not hard and we don't bite Feel free to email us at email@example.com with the date and volunteer role you would like to fill.
We also had David along to share the Pave Brave challenge he is completing over 100 days. To join David in a 10KM run/jog/walk, contact him on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pavebrave
Stephen Bloxsom and Michelle Degenhardt who celebrated their 50th parkrun, Congrats Stephen and Michelle and congratulations to those 45 (45!!) runners that achieved PBs this week.
Lastly, we sign off with a 'run safe' message. Carmel took the time on Saturday to remind everyone of the safety rules that all parkruns abide by. Remember that we share the park with other members of the public and it's our responsibility to keep them safe too. If in doubt, slow down - you can aim for that PB next week!
Have a great week!
