Logan River parkrun is pleased to be holding an additional parkrun event on New Year's Day next year, Friday the 1st of January 2021. 7am start time. Usual processes and routines apply.

This week 178 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 16 were first timers and 11 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

Male placings:
Shaun LOVE (JM15-17) (Unattached) was first over the line in 19:28 - third time in 23 appearances.
Ryan ROSELLI (SM25-29) (Unattached) was second over the line in 19:47.
David RICHARDS (SM25-29) of Logan Triathlon Club, was third over the line in 19:48.

Female placings:
Erika O'REILLY (VW35-39) of Logan Triathlon Club, was first (8th overall) over the line in 21:16 - 49th time in 115 appearances.
Kirsty DAWES (SW30-34) (Unattached) was second (29th overall) over the line in 24:48.
Isabella COPLICK (JW15-17) (Unattached) was third (34th overall) over the line in 25:11 - has been first to finish on 11 previous occasions.

The three highest age grades were recorded by:
Brian FIELD (VM50-54) – 74.80% for the time 20:22 (5th overall).
Andrew HALLAM (VM50-54) – 73.15% for the time 20:40 (6th overall).
Shaun LOVE (JM15-17) – 71.49% for the time 19:28 (first overall).

The male record is held by Patrick HAGAN who recorded a time of 16:18 on 29th June 2013 (event number 1).
The female record is held by Clare GERAGHTY who recorded a time of 17:33 on 1st January 2014 (event number 28).
The Age Grade course record is held by Mary SHERLOCK who recorded 92.50% (24:53) on 18th June 2016 (event number 156).

Logan River parkrun started on 29th June 2013. Since then 4,525 participants have completed 41,384 parkruns covering a total distance of 206,920 km, including 7,423 new Personal Bests.
