Lillydale Lake parkrun – Event #322

A cooler morning this week didn't stop 205 from completing two laps of Lillydale Lake. It was great to see so many starting their Saturday with 5km of running, walking or jogging with friends and family.

Awesome achievements: Congratulations to everyone who managed a new Personal Best time this week, with a special shout-out to anyone who has already completed more than 30 local events (10 for juniors):

  • Rob Petrie, VM50-54 (168 parkruns /152 Local): Rob took 3 seconds off his previous best for a new time of 17:31.
  • Daniel Groves, JM11-14 (101 parkruns / 67 Local): With his second PB in two weeks, Daniel cut an impressive 17 seconds off his previous best for a new time of 20:49.
  • Jay Border, VM35-39 (76 parkruns / 73 Local):  With his second PB in two weeks, Jay cut an impressive 18 seconds off his previous best for a new time of 21:04.
  • James Hosking, JM11-14 (16 parkruns / 16 Local):  James took an amazing 2 minutes and 3 seconds off his previous best for a new time of 21:58.
  • Bernd Becker, VM60-64 (94 parkruns / 91 Local): Bernd improved his time by 6 seconds setting a new time of 22:29.
  • Brooke Petrie, JW11-14 (155 parkruns / 136 Local): With her second PB in two weeks, Brooke took a further 4 seconds off her previous best to record a new time of 22:31.
  • Peter Horsley, VM40-44 (95 parkruns / 77 Local): Peter improved his time by 13 seconds setting a new time of 22:52.
  • Graham Woolridge, VM50-54 (95 parkruns / 77 Local): Graham improved his time by an impressive 23 seconds setting a new time of 24:14.
  • Carolyn Rosenbrock, VW55-59 (38 parkruns / 37 Local): Carolyn improved her time by an impressive 23 seconds setting a new time of 24:21.
  • Alan Zubek, VM70-74 (73 parkruns / 67 Local): Alan improved his time by an impressive 20 seconds setting a new time of 24:27.
  • Kelly Hobson, VW35-39 (93 parkruns / 80 Local): Kelly improved her time by 13 seconds setting a new time of 25:25.
  • Georgia Salter, SW25-29 (90 parkruns / 57 Local): Georgia improved her time by an impressive 37 seconds setting a new time of 26:33.
  • Max Scobie, JM 10 (29 parkruns / 16 Local): Max improved his time by an amazing 3 minutes 42 seconds setting a new time of 32:21.
  • Don Wallace, VM75-79 (80 parkruns / 72 Local): With his third PB in three weeks, Don improved his time by an impressive 40 seconds setting a new time of 43:55.

The Weekly Stats Report:

Lillydale Lake parkrun started on 26th April 2014. Since then 6,169 participants have completed 54,637 parkruns covering a total distance of 273,185km, including 8,409 new Personal Bests. A total of 563 individuals have volunteered 3,894 times.

This week 205 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 24 were first timers and 34 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 23 different clubs took part.

The male record is held by Zak PATTERSON who recorded a time of 14:45 on 9th March 2019 (event number 256).
The Age Grade course record is held by Lavinia PETRIE who recorded 104.06% (21:45) on 25th October 2014 (event number 27).
