Lalor parkrun Pacer Week with thanks to Lalor Running Club

This week 49 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 10 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Jesse MAYNE who recorded a time of 18:42 on 23rd April 2016 (event number 2).
The male record is held by Roger LAY who recorded a time of 17:14 on 14th October 2017 (event number 79).
The Age Grade course record is held by John GRAHAM who recorded 84.40% (19:52) on 4th June 2016 (event number 8).

Lalor parkrun started on 16th April 2016. Since then 951 participants have completed 4,330 parkruns covering a total distance of 21,650 km, including 804 new Personal Bests.

Lalor parkrun Event number 64 – 1st July 2017

This week 42 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 5 were first timers and 5 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 4 different clubs took part.

Male placings: Frank PALERMO (VM35-39) of Diamond Creek Runners, was first over the line in 20:51 - first time in 2 appearances. Joshua PRESSER (VM35-39) of Lalor Running Club, was second over the line in 21:19 - was first to finish once before. Ryan CLEWER (JM11-14) of Lalor Running Club, was third over the line in 22:58.

Female placings: Gail MILLER (VW50-54) (Unattached) was first (5th overall) over the line in 26:56 - first time in 4 appearances. Tanya WRIGHT (VW40-44) (Unattached) was second (7th overall) over the line in 28:17 - has been first to finish on 12 previous occasions. Sarah MACRAILD (VW35-39) of Running Mums Australia, was third (8th overall) over the line in 29:14.

The three highest age grades were recorded by: Frank PALERMO (VM35-39) – 64.99% for the time 20:51 (first overall). Gail MILLER (VW50-54) – 63.80% for the time 26:56 (5th overall). Joshua PRESSER (VM35-39) – 63.57% for the time 21:19 (second overall).

The male record is held by Damien CUSACK who recorded a time of 00:18:04 on 25th June 2016 (event number 11). Adamo TRAINI (VM35-39) (Unattached) was second over the line in 18:49 - has been first to finish on 5 previous occasions.
Steve DONOGHUE (VM50-54) of Mill Park Running Posse, was third over the line in 20:32 - was first to finish once before.

Naomi COTRONEA (VW40-44) (Unattached) was second (10th overall) over the line in 25:02 - was first to finish once before.
Alisha PRYDE (SW30-34) (Unattached) was third (12th overall) over the line in 25:30.

The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores:
Steve DONOGHUE (VM50-54) was graded 74.19% for the time 20:32 (third overall).
Adamo TRAINI (VM35-39) was graded 70.50% for the time 18:49 (second overall).
Damien CUSACK (SM30-34) was graded 70.10% for the time 18:37 (first overall).

This week there were 74 runners, of whom 6 were first timers and 13 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 9 different athletics clubs took part.

Lalor parkrun started on 16th April 2016, and since then 673 different runners, including participants from 46 athletics clubs, have completed 2,543 runs covering a total distance of 12,715 km, and there have been 479 new Personal Bests.

Lalor parkrun celebrates 26 weeks / half a year / 6 months

On Saturday the 8th of October  Lalor parkrun celebrated half a year!

We would like to thank all the runners / walkers / kids / pooches and volunteers who have helped us get to where we are!

Each parkrun only happens because of the time and dedication of our volunteers. Many thanks to all of them, past and present.

Lalor parkrun starts 16 April 2016

We are delighted to announce the launch of Lalor parkrun on 16th April 2016, 8:00am at Whittlesea Public Gardens, Lalor. We hope you'll be able to join us for the launch and a coffee afterwards.
