Christmas & New Year’s Day 2019

Annually there is an opportunity for each parkrun to consider putting on extra events on Christmas Day and/or New Years Day.  Due to the Yarra Bay Bicentennial Park being extremely busy with families and groups celebrating on these days, we will not be opting to have events on these dates. However should you wish to take the opportunity to parkrun elsewhere on these dates here is a link to the Christmas Compendium: http://www.parkrun.com.au/christmas-compendium/ which will highlight those events which will be happening. Happy parkrunning!

Saturday 7 October is going to be a special one at Kamay

Saturday 7 October is going to be a special one at Kamay for 3 reasons:

(1) It will be International parkrun Day marking parkrun's 13th birthday #parkrun13 #loveparkrun

(2) Rejoov runners (many of whom are Kamay regulars) have organised a volunteer takeover - THANK YOU! #rejoovrunners

(3) Luca Turrini will be marking his birthday with an amazing overnight run from Palm Beach to Kamay starting at 7pm on Friday 6 October and would love to invite any of our Kamay parkrunners to join him for all or part of the journey - here's a link to details of the route: http://www.lucaturrini.com/2017birthdayrun.html
