Christmas Day – Jubilee Way parkrun

Jubilee Way parkrun will be running a Christmas Day parkrun at 8am, along with our normal Saturday morning parkrun.

We hope to see some of you there.

Jubilee Way parkrun No. 100 – 14th March 2020

What a wonderful morning we had celebrating Jubilee Way parkrun's 100th event. 335 people took part this morning, with 29 first timers.

84 participants recorded personal bests. We are sure some of those personal bests came about because of our awesome pacers. Thank you to Neil, Scott, Matt, Lachlan, Erika, Deb, Michelle, Kelly and Carmel for taking on pacer roles this morning. Thank you also to all our other volunteers; Julie, Cindy, Hazel, Verena, Mark, Suzanne, Cherie, Sue, Jamele and Steve.

Congratulations one of our juniors, Hannah, on her 10th parkrun this morning, and to Darrell, Rondelle and Murray who all took part in their 50th parkrun. Also congratulations to Deacon and Mark on their 100th parkrun. Well done to all of you.

A big thank you to Amanda and Alicia from the Tea Tree Gully Council for the beautiful plaques we were presented with this morning. We appreciate all the support Tea Tree Gully Council has given us since we first began until today, and look forward to this continuing.

Jubilee Way parkrun No. 99

199 people ran, jogged or walked their way around the course today. 46 participants achieved personal bests and we had 23 first timers this morning. A huge welcome to our overseas visits from Scotland and Africa.

Congratulations to two of our juniors, Alica and Emma, who completed their 10th parkruns this morning. We also had two participants complete their 50th parkruns. Congratulations Belinda and Jodie.

We would like to put out a big thank you to Karen, Cassandra and Sue, who were three participants who supported a fellow participant after a nasty fall this morning. Thank you to the other participants who showed their concern as well. The participant suffered a shoulder injury and a bump on the head, but otherwise should be fine. We appreciate everyone's kindness and care.

Thank you to our volunteers Anna, Deb, Isabella, Sheila, Scott, Bryan, Cherie, Imke, Toni and Kimberley.

Next week is out 100th parkrun and pacer week. We look forward to seeing you all then.
