Cohuna parkrun – Event number 170 – 29th February 2020

This week 61 people ran, jogged and walked the course. Warm welcome to a number of visitors, many of whom are backing up tomorrow in the Bridge to Bridge - good luck.

Also had two Cohuna regulars achieve their 50th milestones today, well done to Hannah and Gwenda on completing these awesome achievements.

Apologies for the late post. We wish Annette and the parkrun tribe in Kerang all the best for their launch today.

Cohuna parkrun started on 3rd December 2016. Since then 993 participants have completed 6,138 parkruns covering a total distance of 30,690 km, including 1,120 new Personal Bests. A total of 173 individuals have volunteered 1,464 times.

 

Cohuna parkrun – Event number 163 -11th January 2020

Cohuna at its best with a beautiful morning creek-side, today after some overnight rain 53 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 8 were first timers and 8 recorded new Personal Bests (well done). Representatives of 4 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to our milestone parkrunners today, Robin 50 parkruns and Brett 25 volunteer- Great achievement by you both. Also big welcome to a number of first time parkrunners and tourists to our event today, we hope you had a great day and that parkrun becomes part of your life each week.

Cohuna parkrun Event number 161 28th December 2019

Today we had a new female record holder (Kylie Sprague)
It was hot today for runners and everyone completed it with no issues.

Cohuna parkrun – Event number 160 – 21st December 2019

What a nice morning we had following the heat during the week - we were very lucky! Congratulations to Keith who celebrated his 50th parkrun this morning; that's 250 parkrun kilometres he has clocked up. Congratulations also to Poppy who has been with Mum before but is now old enough to be registered and completed her very first parkrun on her own steam. It's great to see the young kids coming through and being active, and being supported and encouraged by the whole Cohuna parkrun community; it says so much for our parkrun community. If you're keen for a Christmas Day run, Echuca parkrun is on at 8am. Christmas Day and New Year's Day provide up to three extra parkruns!

Lots of locals, some first timers and a few tourists, with a stunning creekside location, made for a gorgeous parkrun this morning. Thanks to Rodney for the photos and for the vollies for making the event possible. :-) We hope you all enjoyed it and we'll see you again soon.
