Event Date: 17th April 2021

We had a crisp morning with sunshine streaming along our track.

80 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 7 were first timers and 7 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 3 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Brooklyn WILLIAMS who recorded a time of 18:18 on 11th August 2018 (event number 100).
The male record is held by Nathan STOATE who recorded a time of 15:08 on 20th March 2021 (event number 195).
The Age Grade course record is held by Lavinia PETRIE who recorded 98.60% (23:45) on 22nd July 2017 (event number 44).

Cobram parkrun started on 2nd July 2016. Since then 2,580 participants have completed 17,190 parkruns covering a total distance of 85,950 km, including 2,770 new Personal Bests. A total of 432 individuals have volunteered 2,402 times.

Event #198 Cobram parkrun

Event Date: 10th April 2021
Big thanks today to our Star Run Director Steve Flash Kelly who has been Cobram's first RD to do the results processing totally by mobile phone! Setting the standard at Cobram parkrun, Flash!! Assisted by RD Sue Barnes and Co-ED Gary Smith. We have a great team at Cobram!

We welcomed visitors from Rosebud, Westerfolds and other parkrun tourists today, we know you would have enjoyed our beautiful parkrun track along the Murray.

The count of koalas today was 11 according to our regular koala spotter, Sue Barnes. Let us know if you counted more! The count is on.

We had some Easter prizes for the kids which were a treat. These included net balls, building block warehouse and lots of seedlings to grow! The juniors had fun finding the treats after the event.

We had a mild 15 degrees and some beautiful sunshine.

Our Co Event Director, Tim Roadley had his first go at Run Directing and did a smooth job getting 234 parkrunners safely to the finish line. Well done, Tim!

We had 47 first timers to Cobram and we reckon some of these were visitors to our lovely Moira Shire. Trust you enjoyed your stay along the Mighty Murray River.

In the ever-changing landscape of COVID-19 restrictions, we are asking all parkrunners to check their local conditions before leaving for parkrun this weekend.

If you have visited the Greater Brisbane area recently, please have a COVID test as soon as possible.

 

Event 196 Cobram parkrun

Event date: 27th March 2021
We had a lovely, mild 15 degrees for our walk/run today.
Run Director Iain Davidson bought along his boom box for some tunes to run with.
Great distraction for those pushing for a PB today!
