parkrun set to restart Dec 5th in SA

Exciting news!! parkrun will be back on the Riesling Trail this Saturday December 5th.

As required by the SA government and in order to comply with COVID safe regulations, we will have a QR code on display. We encourage all participants, volunteers and spectators to scan this code each week going forward. The code will also be available here, on our event page, as well as Facebook, ensuring you are able to scan the code before leaving home, in your car, or even after the event. This will assist with maintaining social distancing.

On the first ever leap day Clare Valley Parkrun there were
55 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 7 were first timers and 6 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 5 different clubs took part.

Clare Valley parkrun started on 23rd April 2016. Since then 1,215 participants have completed 6,225 parkruns covering a total distance of 31,125 km, including 842 new Personal Bests. A total of 135 individuals have volunteered 1,167 times.

What an awesome turn out on a cooler summers day! I'm not sure I've ever seen the Clare Rise Bakery verandah so full of Parkrunners. Thankyou to all the visitors who chose Clare Valley Parkrun today.

This week 65 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 7 recorded new Personal Bests. 4 of those PB's were Junior 10's, go kids! Representatives of 7 different clubs took part.
