Chermside parkrun Event #34 – 30th April 2016

Thank you to the 174 parkrunners who joined us for a mostly rain-free run/walk in 7th Brigade Park this morning. Well done to our first finishers David Bernard and Melissa Murphy.

Congratulations to Bradley Lacey and Lucas Hickey who won free entries to the Queensland Half Marathon event. For anyone else interested in going, if you enter the special code 'parkrun' (without the quotes) when you register, you will get the early bird price. But the special code is only valid until midnight tonight (April 30th).

Thank you as always to our awesome volunteers who made the event run oh-so smoothly. Thank you as well to Melissa Murphy of Centenary Aquatic Centre and Health Club for the warmup and LJ Hooker Chermsidefor the drinks.

Next week is pacer week and combined with the cooler weather, PBs are going down!! Booyah!
