Chermside will be running on New Years Day. Join us for an 8:20 briefing, 8:30 run.
We will not be running on Christmas Day or New Year's Day, however we will be running our regular Saturdays on the 23rd and 30th of December.
Greet New Year's Day the parkrun way at Chermside in 2017! We will be holding a parkrun at 7.00am, then afterwards, scoot down to Kedron parkrun for their event at 8.30am. What a parkrunderful way to start 2017! Hope you can join us.
40 Parkruns complete! Thanks to all 154 runners who joined us this morning to celebrate and a particular Happy Birthday and Congratulations to our Run Director Bradley, who notched up over 25 volunteer efforts with Parkrun this week. We're so lucky to have you, Bradley! Thanks also to Wayne Swan MP who presented the award and joined us for a run as well.

This week there were 154 runners, of whom 11 were first timers and 33 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 8 different athletics clubs took part.
Chermside parkrun started on 22nd August 2015, and since then 1,859 different runners, including participants from 82 athletics clubs, have completed 6,888 runs covering a total distance of 34,440 km, and there have been 1,578 new Personal Bests.
The female record is held by Clare GERAGHTY who ran in a time of 00:17:58 on 2016-02-13 (event number 24).
The male record is held by Nick TOOHEY who ran in a time of 00:16:03 on 2015-09-05 (event number 3).
The Age Grade course record is held by Peter REEVES who recorded a 86.93% run (18:37) on 14th November 2015 (event number 11).
