Christmas Day Champion Lakes parkrun

To celebrate Christmas we are having an extra parkrun at 8:00 am on the Tuesday 25th December. Bring along your family and friends to join us. Wear some festive gear and sparkle your way around the lake. Enjoy exercising so that you don't put on too much weight over the festive season.

New Years Day Event

Start that New Years resolution on a good foot. At 8:30am New Years Day 2018, Champion Lakes parkrun will hold a timed run. We welcome everyone to join in the fun.

Christmas & New Year’s Day parkruns

There will be extra opportunities for parkunning in Perth over the festive season:

  • There will be no parkrun on Christmas Day (25th Decemeber 2016) at Champion Lakes but feel free to take your barcode along to another parkrun for an extra bonus: 8am start (Aveley parkrun or Kalgoorlie-Boulder)
  • We will be holding a bonus parkrun on New Year's Day (1st January 2017): 8am start.  However should you wish to run 2 parkruns on New Year's Day you may wish to try out Pioneer or Shelley at 9.30am immediately after Champion Lakes.

These are all official parkruns and will count towards your club shirts.

We hope you can join us to run or volunteer on New Year's Day. If you've got friends and family visiting, why not bring them along. If you're away, you may still be able to get your parkrun fix. Check out the list of extra seasonal events Christmas Compendium on the parkrun website. The information is being regularly updated as more parkruns make plans, so do check back nearer to Christmas/New Year. We'll also be running as usual on the 24th December and the 31st December (8am starts as usual).
