4th Anniversary and pacer day – 16/6/2018

It's our 4th anniversary, which means it's dress up time.

4th anniversary gifts are traditionally flowers, so this year, we have a floral theme. Come dressed as anything flowery/floral.

It's also our annual pacer day, so if you can help a fellow runner to a PB please let us know what time you can pace (we'll have everything from 20min to 35min)

To help share the load, it would be great if everyone could bring a small plate of yummies - or even bake a cake :)

Event 21st April 2018 – Cancelled

Due to late notice of council works, the parkrun for tomorrow (21/04/18) has been cancelled.

There are several nearby parkruns you can check out - Cottesloe (3rd birthday), Wanneroo (launch), Yokine, Joondalup, etc, etc.

New Year’s Day parkrun – Special Event

We will be running a special New Year's Day parkrun on 1/1/2018, with a special late start time of 9:30am.  Get your New Year's resolutions off to a good start with a 5km run - this does count towards the annual points table, and to the (J10)/50/100/250 clubs.

Lake Joondalup will be hosting a NYD parkrun with a start time of 8:00am, which gives you the opportunity to run there first and then get to Carine Glades parkrun for a second run - both runs will count towards your club progress!

This special event is, of course, entirely optional, but we'd love to see you there!  Just don't forget your barcode!  And if you don't think you'll be up to running, we'll be needing the usual selection of volunteers too - email carinegladeshelpers@parkrun.com to register your interest!

International Parkrun Day! 7th Oct 2017

13 years ago 2 October, 2004, 13 people gathered in a park in Southwest London and completed a 5km time trial. Little did they know they were making history and became the first ever parkrunners!

13 years later and parkrun is now the biggest running event in the world, taking place in 17 countries, with more than 200,000 people walking, jogging, running or volunteering every week across over 1,200 events- and its still free, for everyone.

To celebrate how the international parkrun community has grown over the last 13 years, we want to collect a photograph of a personalized apricot top from every event in the world.

Simply post your photo on social media with the hashtag #parkrun13 and we'll do the rest.

Cancellation – 22 April 2017

Due to another event in the area that will take place on part of the paths and the parkrun start area this Saturday, we unfortunately have to cancel Carine Glades parkrun this week only.

Rest assured, we'll be back next week as normal. In the meantime, please take the opportunity to "tourist" at another event around Perth.

Christmas and New Years Day events

Carine Glades parkrun will not be offering Christmas Day and New Years Day events this year. Our usual Saturday parkrun will happen as normal on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
