On New Year's Day, a massive 154 runners took on the hills of Blackbutt to get their New Year off to a flying start. Nat Heath returned to The Butt for his first run since Blackbutt's inaugural run back in August, and he almost bared all for the occasion! A special mention goes out to Troy Green, Mark Northcott and Ben Petersen who ran all three region parkruns on the day AND cycled between each!

New Year’s Day ‘Butt Blaster’ parkrun Event

Join us at 08:00am on New Year's Day for a once only chance to run our 'Butt Blaster' course.

This course was mapped as our original course before we decided that it might be a wee bit too tough for a weekly event. It has 10m more elevation than the usual Blackbutt course. It's the perfect way to blow away the cobwebs after a big New Year's Eve. Come and feel the burn to kick off 2014 in style!!
