Bega parkrun back on 2.1.21

Exciting news our Bega parkrun will be back on Saturday 2.1.21.  Pre-run brief is at 7:50am.

Everyone will be asked to sign in using the Service NSW App and to observe a Covid-19 code of conduct.  That code asks everyone to observe social distancing, self seed, respect peoples personal space, listen to the pre-run briefing, support your children to socially distance, no spitting or high fiving, show your barcode and token to the scanner from a distance.

Also take this opportunity to remind everyone that Bega parkrun has no toilet facilities, we ask everyone to bring their own water and hand sanitiser.

Don't forget that we cannot run our event without the volunteers so it is important you help out and parkrun takes special care of volunteers - we will povide volunteers with hand sanitiser and optional gloves and we have implemented some changes so that social distancing is maintained.

Bega parkrun Event number 223 30th November 2019

This week 66 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 4 were first timers and 4 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 4 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Steph AUSTON who recorded a time of 17:32 on 26th January 2019 (event number 179).
The Age Grade course record is held by Keith LAW who recorded 86.79% (18:10) on 12th September 2015 (event number 1).

Bega parkrun started on 12th September 2015. Since then 1,515 participants have completed 14,025 parkruns covering a total distance of 70,125 km, including 2,046 new Personal Bests. A total of 254 individuals have volunteered 1,391 times.
