parkrun restarting 20th February 2021 after Covid 19 lockdown

parkrun recommences Saturday 20th February 2021.

We have to comply with Covid-19 restrictions (social distancing, no coughing, spitting or "high fives" etc.)

Masks are not required.

In addition we must use the SafeWA app to register our attendance.

"QR" codes will be posted (as below) at the event and it is also suggested that parkrunners might print their own copy in order to scan in (maybe in the car) to maintain social distancing.

These conditions apply for the foreseeable future

New Years Day 2018

We will be getting the New Year off to a great start by providing an event on New Years Day. The event will start at our normal time of 8am. We hope you join us to celebrate the start of the new year

New Years Day

We are offering a New Years Day parkrun at Aveley this year - so why not get the New Year off to a great start and join us for a 5km run or walk? The start time will be the usual start time of 8am.

New Years Day is the only day where you get the chance to run a 'double' parkrun as we can stagger the start times.

Our neighbours at Woodbridge Riverside parkrun are also offering a parkrun on New Years Day and will be starting at 9.30am - this will give you time to complete a run or walk at Aveley and then travel to Woodbridge Riverside  for another run or walk, if you wish.

Please remember there is no obligation to attend both but if you do, please drive safely between parkruns and consider car pooling to reduce parking issues.

If you are away on holiday, check out the Christmas Compendium for other parkruns that may be offering events on New Years Day

Christmas Day parkrun

Christmas Day and New Years Day are the only days, outside of Saturdays that we can offer a parkrun.

We will be hosting a Christmas Day parkrun at Aveley at the usual start time of 8am - so once the kids have opened their presents, why not join us for a walk or run? Then you can enjoy the rest of the festivities without feeling too guilty!

We will still need the usual volunteers, so maybe bring the family along to help!
