Hello Parkrunners/Joggers/walkers,
Thank you all for taking the effort to start your week end at Parkrun, so good to see so many come and enjoy the sun.
On a more serious note:
Parkrun is run by Volunteers, your selves, and there are guidelines/procedures /codes put in place is ensure every one is in a safe environment. Take the time and have a read below.
Results are up, photo's to follow soon.
Cheers, RD
The parkrun code for 5k events:
1 - Please pay attention to the pre-run briefing
2 - Respect everyone’s right to participate in their own way
3 - Under 11s always with arm’s reach of a parent or guardian
NOTE: All under 11s must be within arm's reach of a parent, guardian or other designated adult of the parents' choice at our 5k events. This is an insurance requirement and local event teams have the authority to remove the results of a junior who persistently flouts this non-negotiable rule.
( Safety of your child is your reasonability, no one would like to deal with a situation where they have gone missing!)
4 - One dog on a short lead per person
5- Be mindful of your local environment and other park users
6 - No barcode, no time, no exception
7 - Have fun, it’s only a walk, jog or run
8 - Thank the amazing volunteer

What a great start to the weekend, a little hazy weather wise this morning, but didn't deter some good results.
Well done Lucy on your 50th run, and Michael on his 25th Volunteering!
Again, please consider Volunteering over the coming weeks, as this makes the morning run smoother.
Token 72 has taken trip home with some one, so if you could return it next week, that will be great.
Notes: No printed barcode, no result, this is Parkrun policy, so please if you've forgotten your printed barcode, please don't don't embarrass our volunteers by asking a special favour, as
they will have to say no. ( Also writing your bar code on your arm, also is not the printed version.)

Thank you. RD.
