It was a big morning at Stones Corner parkrun last Saturday! Our personal pacer week was a smash hit with some amazing results all round - 43 new PBs set today! Congratulations to everyone who hit their goals this morning, you all did a fantastic job on what was a chilly morning. We hope to make personal pacer week a regular event on the third Saturday of each month, which means the next one will be the 15th August. Time to start thinking about what your goal will be!
A few special congratulations must go out to Stephen Myatt who reached the 50 club this morning. Unfortunately the balloon didn't make it past the start line but Stephen did! And Cath Scott did an amazing job, smashing her PB to cross the line in 38:53.
Atul Arora was first across the line in 18:03 and Eimear Mann was our first female in 21:17.
Thank you so much to our wonderful team of volunteers, without you parkrun couldn't happen. Unfortunately there will be no photos of this week's run as we didn't have anyone volunteer to fill the position. Very sad...
A big thank you goes out to this weeks volunteers:
Alice BIDWELL • Ashley BERGHAUSER • Ben VAN WEGEN • Cassandra ZAYONCE • Eimear MANN • Gillian EASTGATE • Ian HAY • Janette POLSON • Jenny GEARING • Natalie PETERSEN • Rachel TOOLEY • Simon BLACK • Stephen SWAN • Steve BECK

This is the most convenient way to carry your parkrun Athlete ID barcode - on a durable plastic key tag. No more soggy paper barcode! Attach it to your car keys, shoelace, necklace, wristband or zip and you won't need to worry about forgetting it.
Simply visit the BentLogic website to order. The cost is $6 AUD (including postage) and best of all, $2 from each key tag will be donated back to parkrun.
Cafe Elvira offer all parkrunners free hot drinks each week on display of their barcode. All parkrunners get free basic coffee and tea, and only $2.50 for hot chocolate and chai latte (volunteers get all hot drinks free). They're open from 6-1 and can be found on the same side of the road as the library/toilets and about 300m up the road. There's always a few of us up there after the run so come say hi!
