St Lucia parkrun started on 24th March 2018. Since then 2,478 participants have completed 5,784 parkruns covering a total distance of 28,920 km, including 947 new Personal Bests. A total of 166 individuals have volunteered 616 times.

This week 126 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 36 were first timers and 22 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 12 different clubs took part.

We would ask everyone who wants to run the double to take care and not rush between events, it's not important enough to hurt or fined for (double demerits over Xmas). You can start a little late if need be.

We will be looking for support from our regulars to ensure that the volunteer roster is full well in advance so if you are thinking about volunteering and expect to be a little dusty on new years day then maybe this is your chance.
