HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019 - and what a way to start the year off. The weather was perfect and we saw plenty of visitors coming into town from Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, CLare to name a few. The later start saw the weather warming up sooner than usual however it didn't stop our participants. We saw some amazing times from our younger participants and a double pram smashed the course in an awesome time.

Congratulations to everyone that participated and enjoy what 2019 brings to you and your families. The atmosphere was amazing and so much support for everyone.

This week 42 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 23 were first timers and 2 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 7 different clubs took part.

The male record is held by Nathan TUMARU who recorded a time of 18:47 on 9th June 2018 (event number 19).
The female record is held by Veronica TRENGOVE who recorded a time of 21:12 on 3rd November 2018 (event number 40).
The Age Grade course record is held by Alan TWARTZ who recorded 77.29% (21:30) on 20th October 2018 (event number 38).

Port Broughton parkrun started on 3rd February 2018. Since then 353 participants have completed 1,240 parkruns covering a total distance of 6,200 km, including 271 new Personal Bests. A total of 53 individuals have volunteered 300 times.


New Year

Port Broughton is planning to hold a parkrun event on New Years Day Tuesday  1/1/2019 at 0900. Briefing at 0850.
