Once again we will offer "christmas" Day and "newyear" Day parkrun the start time will be 8am to keep in line with our normal start time we hope to see you all 

This is a bonus parkrun we will also have our normal Saturday events

Great to see so many first timers and PB's today.
Male placings:
Michael POCOCK (SM25-29) (Unattached) was first over the line in 19:04 - first time in 3 appearances.
Gareth QUIGLEY (SM30-34) (Unattached) was second over the line in 19:55.
John Luis GRIGSON (SM20-24) (Unattached) was third over the line in 20:07.


Current standing in the Men's annual points competition:
Chris WOODS (StixFX) 1724 pts.
Danny SHEEHAN (Kalgoorlie runners) 1547 pts.
Richard JAMES (Pegasus Hockey Club) 1443 pts.


Female placings:
Louise MILLER (VW40-44) of Running Mums Australia, was first (22nd overall) over the line in 24:31 - 5th time in 88 appearances.
Lisa ELLERY (VW40-44) (Unattached) was second (23rd overall) over the line in 24:33.
Angeleen SCHIMANSKI (VW40-44) of Inspired Life, was third (26th overall) over the line in 25:28.


Current standing in the Women's annual points competition:

Lisa NELSON (Kalgoorlie Tri Club) 1295 pts.

The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores:
Danny SHEEHAN (VM60-64) was graded 75.95% for the time 21:29 (6th overall).
Michael POCOCK (SM25-29) was graded 67.74% for the time 19:04 (first overall).
Noel BLOEM (VM55-59) was graded 67.43% for the time 23:11 (16th overall).


This week there were 148 runners, of whom 21 were first timers and 33 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 13 different athletics clubs took part.


Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun started on 12th October 2013, and since then 1,995 different runners, including participants from 43 athletics clubs, have completed 14,792 runs covering a total distance of 73,960 km, and there have been 3,320 new Personal Bests.


The female record is held by Julie GARDNER who ran in a time of 00:19:42 on 2014-09-20 (event number 52).
The male record is held by Francisco SANZANA who ran in a time of 00:15:54 on 2015-07-25 (event number 97).
The Age Grade course record is held by Danny SHEEHAN who recorded a 84.80% run (19:05) on 1st November 2014 (event number 58).

Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun Event number 120 1st January 2016 seen 46 runners, of whom 3 were first timers and 8 recorded new Personal Bests.

We are very grateful to the volunteers who made this event happen:
Helen BARBOUR Who was the hand and eyes of the Camera , Damien DICKINSON The hand of the barcode scanner making sure all finish tokens are scanned and counted for ,
Helen ELTRINGHAM Who was out there making sure no one was lost or forgotten and keep the field in line as Tail Runner,
Lyndel WEARE was out standing on cross road home point as Marshal making sure no one went the wrong way making sure all made it to the finish line.
Gabriel SCHIMANSKI was making sure no one passed with out a finish token.
And last Allison HUNTER who was making sure you all knew your finish time and pushed for a pb, Also big Thank you to Tim Nash for putting on the Pacer Vest today the Vest are there for all to wear any time .
Was great to see all for our first 2016 parkrun and seeing all having a chat.
We hope you all have a great day and guess what we get to do it all again tomorrow same place same time with more amazing volunteers .

Michelle SWAN (VW40-44) of Kalgoorlie Tri Club, was second (11th overall) over the line in 24:49 - has been first to finish on 4 previous occasions.
Fiona CORMIER (SW30-34) (Unattached) was third (13th overall) over the line in 25:01.
