Our 161st parkrun was a nice cool morning and the rain held off until after the parkrun. Great for being outdoors.
Thanks to everyone for their participation and we hope to see everyone again soon.
A very warm welcome to the 14 people who had their personal barcodes scanned at our parkrun for the very first time today. We hope you enjoyed it, and will run here again.
Remember to tell your friends that parkrun is fun for everyone in the community.
- This week 175 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 14 were first timers and 30 recorded new Personal Bests.
- Jells parkrun started on 27th June 2015. Since then 4,376 participants have completed 24,664 parkruns covering a total distance of 123,320 km, including 4,785 new Personal Bests.
Jells parkrun relies on volunteers to bring you a free, timed event each week. We encourage everyone to volunteer because it's fun, rewarding, and giving to your community.
Please review the Future Roster to see where volunteers are needed and email firstname.lastname@example.org
if you can help. The wonderful volunteers who made this event possible are:
- Keith BRUNTON
- Lisa BULLOCK
- Ann-Marie JEFFERY
- Long NGUYEN
- Andrea PEARCE
- Janne RANDALL
- Terry RANDALL
- Alex ROBINS
- Rosemary WAGHORN
- Ed WILSON
Safety or Rules Highlight - Seeding at Start
To help with congestion on the run and for the first 1km, we use a seeded start. This means that parkrunners line up and start in order of their approximate finish times. This helps to minimise overtaking and creates a better flow at the start of each event.
If unsure, ask those around you, what time they think they will finish in.
Aesthetically pleasing times

- 45:00 - Carolyn WHITE
- 45:45 - Ken MATHERS
