From the Run Director
263 is the number for today, 263 clicks of the stopwatch, 263 people starting the weekend in the best possible way.
You may have noticed we had loads of first timers today!!! SEVENTY in fact! You also may have noticed the majority of these were the Cross Country Team from Ormiston College. A big thank you to you all for coming along this morning, I hope you loved your first parkrun as much as we do and will return in the future. Also thanks to their trainer Joel, for organising it.
With the Results today, there were a few barcode scanning issues. If you finished in position 11, please get in touch as the barcode you used came up short in numbers so it wasn't recognised by our scanner.
Also, Edward Connors and Clare Laxy, can you please get in touch with your finish position or time so I can add you in. Your barcodes were scanned but the finish token wasn't so I have no way of knowing where you came in the results to add you in.
MASSIVE THANKS to our volunteers today. We even had a last minute step in volunteer from Grafton, thanks Graeme!!
Ella COOP, Daphne DAY, Cathy DUIGNAN, Tim EDWARDS, Graeme HICKS, Lucy JONES, Jo JONES, Selwyn LAWTON, Ben POTZTAL, Lindsie RICHARDSON, Roanna SANDS
Is anyone heading down to the Gold Run 2018 tomorrow? comment below, share your photos and let us know how you go.
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!

Getting to Know You: personalities of parkrun
New Year = New Section of the Run Report.
This week, we've had a few technical issues with the personalities of parkrun section. We will have a new personalities of parkrun interview next week, so watch this space...
If you'd like to be featured in our "personalities of parkrun" section, please contact us and let us know. We'd love to hear your story.
Friendly reminder that we do not accept parkrun barcodes on phones or watches. Our scanner is not reliable on devices so your barcode must be PRINTED. Please do not ask the volunteers to write your details down so you can be added to the results, you will be politely told no.
If you need to reprint your barcode but can’t seem to find the link… please click here print your barcode. If you'd like to buy a key tag or wrist band, you can find them at www.bentlogic.com.au. Go to the Bent Logic website to order yours today and remember… No barcode = No result, No exceptions.
Do you have feedback?
If you have any general feedback, suggestions or just want to say thanks and share your parkrun story, why not send us an email at email@example.com and please let us know if there is anything you would like us to include in the weekly Run Report (celebrations, announcements, special shout outs, birthdays etc).
