Run Report 09/06/2016

Good morning all!

There is some good news and also some not so good news. I will start off with the good news.

Well done to all of you runners who braved the cold this morning and also special thanks to the wonderful volunteers *insert clap, clap* who helped out to make this all happen.

Now for the not so good news, our stop watch has decided it was too cold this morning and went back to bed. Our trusty machine has done us proud and it may go to a better place now. In saying that, you will all get a default time of 59:59 but tally of runs will still be accounted for.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead. Stay safe and enjoy a hot coffee/chocolate/tea indoors as you all deserve it after a massive run this morning.

Thanks Anthony

Bonus parkruns over the Festive Period

Evening parkrunners - Claisebrook Cove will be hosting two bonus parkruns over the festive period.

The first will be at the usual time (08:00) on Christmas Day, this will be a fancy dress run with a theme of Christmas, if you have a Santa, elf, reindeer or similar outfit please feel free to wear it - there is even a rumour that the three wise men and JC himself may be putting in another appearance.

Bring along something to throw on the barbie at the end and join us for a post run breakfast and beverage of choice.

The second run will be starting at 09:00 on New Years Day - New Years Day is the only day of the year that you have the oppourtunity to attend and score points at two parkruns.

We have teamed up with our friends from Carine Glades parkrun to provide the oppourtunity for you to do a 'double header' if you would like to.

Carine Glades parkrun will be starting at 07:30 which will give you time to run at Carine Glades and travel to Claisebrook Cove in time for our 09:00 start.

You can of course attend either event independently if you prefer.

Hope to see plenty of you looking suitably subdued on the day, what better way to start 2016 than by running a parkrun or two in the company of a herd of parkrunners.

Claisebrook Cove parkrun #156

Afternoon parkrunners,

Well done to those of you who ran this morning, almost perfect day for it today and congratulations to the 38 of you managed PB’s.

The barcode book made its final appearance at this mornings run. Please ensure that you have your printed barcode with you in future, or visit the brent logic site at http://www.bentlogic.com.au/index.html and order a plastic tag or wristband. They are a good product and Brent Logic donates $2 or $5 respectively from each item sold to parkrun.

Stats from todays run are below, the points table reset today because it was our anniversary run so it will be a couple of weeks before the points normalise - if you appear in the top 3 today and weren’t expecting to, well done! – The first placed male and female runners and all of todays volunteers scored 250 points, so there are a lot of us in joint first place this week.

See you all at the same time and place next week and as ever #DFYB.
